Despite the forecast of fog the morning was the start of a glorious fall day! Sunny and in the upper 40’s.
Lining up for the 9:00 AM start were 31 runners, mostly women. At the starting whistle 20 folks headed off for 10 k by turning immediately right onto the Schug trail. This took them ‘out and back’ to where they would continue around Dryden Lake chasing the 11 runners doing the 5k.
Dogs and kids were the order of the day with 7 and 8 years old completing the 10 k!
